Bird's Nest

I had ambition to do lots of painting while away but really didn't have much opportunity. I did get a few photos which I will try to work up later but mostly everything is very lush and beautiful but actually rather monochromatic.

In the trellis over the entranceway of the house where I stayed I looked up and saw this little dove patiently sitting on her nest. I stood there and painted her until the rain drove me inside.
