Noon on the Common Again

I have lost track of how many "Noon on the Common" drawings and paintings I have done. I realized that I have this great view from the lounge at the theatre, so I may do this same view a few times over the winter and spring, before the season starts. I took a photo too, so I might even try this in oils on the weekend.

    I am fortunate to work in a unique place.
    The Shaw Festival Theatre is in Niagara-on-the-Lake, a small picturesque town at the junction of the Niagara River and Lake Ontario. The Festival Theatre building is on the very edge of town and overlooks the common. This is the view seen from the donors lounge. As it is a summer theatre it is very quiet right now. Many of my posts have been views of various parts of the common, or the river, or the lake. Thanks, as always, for your encouragement Trevor.
