Daylilies

7.5"X5" Marker on paper

a.k.a.Hemerocallis fulva. I was under the impression that they were indigenous to this part of the world, but apparently they are an invasive species and originate in Asia. Daylilies are everywhere at this time of year and grow by the side of the road and on abandoned lots. Hey, they even grow in my garden!
