Gala & Delicious


7"X5" Oil on panel


My husband came home with these wonderful deep purple Red Delicious. I have never seen them that colour before so I had to try to paint one. I included a Royal Gala to show that there really isn't anything wrong with your monitor. I did a WIP with this one, if you would like to see the pictures go here.

    I so love your fruit and pepper paintings. They make me just want to eat and eat. The way you captured the effect of light on them is beautiful.

    Nice painting Sarah, I eat either a gala or red delicious apple everyday for lunch (no lie!!) these might be from West Virginia, great orchards there.
