Another sketchbook study today. I am particularly proud of this poinsettia because it is actually from the Christmas before last. It sat outside all Summer until frost and then I put it in a north facing window in the basement. Just before Christmas I noticed that although it was looking pretty ratty and had lost a lot of leaves, the new ones coming in were red.
