5"X7" Oil on board


Today I have tried an oil for the first time. Much more of a challenge, I must say. Apart from anything else, I had to photograph it, because of course I couldn't put a wet oil on the scanner. Also, I am used to doing oils over several days. However, here it is, one of the jewel-like bottles of pigment, this one cadmium red.
