Lakeshore Bridge
7"X5" Acrylic on board
A familiar sight to anyone who tries to cross the canal on the Lakeshore Road at about 5:30 on a late winter evening. One of those situations where the visor really doesn't help. You have to drive one-handed while using the other one to try to block the sun without actually blocking your view of the road completely.

I recognize this view. You have captured the sense of light beautifully!
ReplyDeleteGreat light and reflections. The strong values really work here to accentuate the light of the sky.
ReplyDeleteVery nice painting. Sunsets always having a calming effect. I use to drive west after work. I also recognize this scene.
ReplyDeleteThere was a young woman whom I loved in Niagara on the Lake. I lived in St.Catharines. I would take this route more than I could count. Now it is just a memory. Your painting will be the image I see now when I remember those days. Thank you.
