The fire escapes and balconies of Montreal play a large part in defining her character. This one, drawn from the inside looking out, leads down to an alley (allée, rouelle?) behind avenue du Parc.
Thank you both. It is funny because I very nearly didn't post this one at all. It is a little rough to say the least! But I thought it was an interesting composition, I am glad I shared it.
I love this staircase drawing. It is a great design. I also enjoyed the other vignettes of Montreal. It is truly a wonderful city!
