7"X5" Mixed media

Well this is the final post of my 31 day sketch challenge. It has been a lot more challenging than I anticipated and I haven't managed to do them consecutively, which is I think how it was designed. It has actually taken me almost exactly two months to achieve a month's worth of sketches and some of them have been pretty marginal.
My next project is the annual Small Feats exhibition at the Niagara Artists Centre. I have undertaken to submit 3 12"X12" paintings. I still haven't decided what they will be, but I guess I will come up with something.

8"X5.5" Mixed media

It is always hard to find a vase with a small enough neck for these tiny flowers. I think that this tube had a vanilla bean in it. i works but is a bit precarious.

Bedroom Window

9"X6" Pencil on paper

This is day 27 of the 31 day sketch challenge, only four more to go. I can't believe that I once did this every day for a whole year. I haven't even managed consecutive days.

Wind Machine

5"X7" Oil on board

This isn't really finished, but it will do for day 25 of the 31 day sketch challenge.

This is a wind machine, not a windmill. They are all over the vineyards here in Niagara. They are used to prevent killing frost damage and run on propane.
